Small folio. 285mm x 200mm [Sheet]. Map engraving measures approximately 90mm x 143mm.  Minor toning, with light dampstaining to lower left corner of sheet. Engraving is nice and dark on laid paper.

Hartmann Schedel's Liber Chronicarum (aka Nuremberg Chronicle) was originally printed in 1493. As it proved very popular, three years after the first edition was complete Johann Schönsperger of Augsburg printed an unlicensed, smaller version in Latin in 1497.
